"Let the Music Play On" Fundraising Appeal

Help us reach our goal to raise $5000

We are appealing for donations to continue to have our visiting professional entertainers, Pete Campbell and Al Foreman perform on a regular basis for our 4th Floor Special Care residents.

Pete and Al currently provide special weekly performances for our seniors. They are educated and experienced professionals who tailor their music to meet their audiences' needs.

Our goal is to raise $5000. It is critical to raise this money if we are to maintain these visits by Pete and Al. Every dollar donated can make a difference!

Donations (cheque, debit or credit card) may be made directly at Columbus Residence or you can donate online by clicking the links for CanadaHelps on this website. For more information about this fundraising appeal, contact Holly Martin-Thompson at 604.321.4405, Ext 103

Donations to Columbus Residence are tax deductible. Canada Helps has recently posted an article on how claiming your chairitable donations can result "in having more money to contribute to society in the long run": "Four Tax Tips to Help Generous Canadians Do More Good"

Email Security Alert for Family & Friends

We have had some reports of family and friends of our residents receiving fraudulent "phishing" emails. These emails appear to be coming from someone at Columbus Residence and usually refer to some kind of invoicing matter and a request to click on a link to another unrelated website.

Columbus Residence would never send an invoice, statement or other document in an email that requires you to click on a link. If we were to send anything it would be attached as a document and NOT as a hyperlink to a website.

If you receive a suspicious email, do not click on any links. Just delete the message.
